Quench Beverages Launches New Line of Spirits and Ready-to-Drink Fusions

Quench Beverages Limited, a Lagos-based craft beverage company, has introduced a range of spirits and ready-to-drink blends to the Nigerian market. The launch marks the company’s latest effort to expand locally produced beverage options by combining traditional distilling methods with contemporary production standards.

Founder and CEO Akin Adekeye said the company aims to offer beverages rooted in local traditions while maintaining consistent quality. “Every bottle reflects pride in our roots and confidence in our future,” he noted.

The new product lineup includes 1890 Ògógóró, a palm-based spirit available in Classic, Crema de Naija, Pineapple, and Coconut variants, as well as dZēst Waragi, a botanical spirit produced in Original, Guava, and Mango flavors. The company is also introducing fusion drinks such as Zobolo Plus (a blend of Ògógóró and zobo), Calmar (Ògógóró and Chapman), and Zima (Ògógóró and palm wine). Some non-alcoholic versions are available for select blends.

Quench products are currently stocked at Hutoos Supermarkets in Oja Oba, Oke Ira, and Iju, and at Buymore Supermarket in Abule Egba, Lagos. The company plans to widen distribution through additional retail outlets, bars, and online platforms in the coming weeks. Quench is also scheduled to sponsor Artcation, an art and lifestyle event, as part of its broader engagement with creative communities, with more collaborations expected later in December.

The launch adds to ongoing efforts within the Nigerian beverage sector to develop craft-focused products that highlight local ingredients and production techniques.
